Exhibition in Antwerp
I currently have a photography exhibition in Antwerp together with 16 other photographers. My project tells the story of the house where I lived for 25 years, a place that was also home to my grandparents and great-grandparents.
For this project, I created an album that combines old family photographs with new images I made myself, connecting different generations through the same place.
I was also fortunate to receive help from my partner, who beautifully 3D-printed a lithophane for the exhibition. A lithophane is a photograph printed in plastic where thicker areas appear darker and thinner areas appear lighter. When light is placed behind it, the original image magically comes to life.
If you're curious, feel free to come and visit this weekend! The exhibition is open from Friday to Sunday, from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM, with an extended opening on Friday evening until 9:00 PM.
I would love to see you there!
